  • Chris Yonker, CPL

    Co-Founder & Vice President

Chris holds a Certified Professional Landman designation from the AAPL and was elected to the board of the San Antonio Association of Professional Landmen in 2024. He is currently serving as the organization’s Secretary.

He is a native of Corpus Christi, where he began working as a field landman 20 years ago alongside his father, who taught him the business. Over time, field land work became in-house work, which culminated during his time with Marathon Oil, where he was responsible for 7 active rigs in Oklahoma's STACK play. Prior to his time with Marathon, Chris managed a busy land department for a Corpus-based producer, where he also gained extensive experience owning and operating wells. Formerly a single-digit golf handicap, his free time is now spent carting his two boys around to endless sporting events. Chris lives in San Antonio with his wife Sara and two boys, Grant and Zach.
